LET'S HAVE SOME FUN! Many of us have gained the understanding the we actively participate in creating what we want in our lives. In this article I would like to offer a few steps to help you manifest what you want. Put on some peaceful music, light a candle
and let's manifest! Begin by asking yourself a few questions. You may want to print this article out so that you can have it next to you. OK, first question... "What do you want?", "What do YOU want?" Not, "What does your partner want or your kids or your
parents...but what do YOU truly want?"
One way to help you figure out what you want is to write out what you don't want. Look at the worries that occupy your mind the most. A couple of common examples are "I don't want to live paycheck to paycheck." and "I don't want to get sick". Now switch those to state what you do want! "I want financial abundance" and "I want vibrant health". Allow these words to become your NEW self-talk. Watch how you word things. Someone recently said to me, " I want this experience to be non-drama". I suggested to
take out the energy of the word "drama" and just affirm, "I want this experience to be peaceful".
Even more powerful is to take this one step further by stating what you want as if you already have it. If you get a bill in the mail that you fear you can't pay immediately, turn your self-talk around with a positive affirmation."Thank you for my financial abundance" or "I now experience financial freedom and for this I am thankful". This is the "acting as if" part. This is the part that requires imagination and faith. This is the action part. This is the part that really takes practice. Studies have shown that it takes 25-30 days to create a new habit. Last month I suggested you say, "I love myself" several times a day for the month of Feb. Hopefully this has started to get integrated as a natural response to self-defeating thoughts. My suggestion for the month of March is for 30 days, from the day you read this article to ACT AS IF. Figure out what you want and then act as if those things have already manifested. There is powerful energy in this. This is the same power behind prayer. This concept is stated so beautifully in the bible, Mark 11:24:
“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask,
believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you."
The words don't read, "believe that you WILL receive them", but "believe that you HAVE received them". These are powerful thoughts to think and this is the energy to feel when you manifest what you want in your life.
Are you ready to actively participate in creating YOUR life? Have you suffered or struggled enough? Have you allowed yourself to be a victim long enough? Have you complained and whined enough that now you're even annoying yourself? Have you recognized the old habits that are no longer serving you, but have simply become habit or even addiction? This month we celebrate the beginning of spring, a time of re-birth. What a
perfect time to focus on integrating new habits. If an old habit starts to automatically kick in, say, "bye old habit, we're changing some things around here". Then, immediately state your new habit. Start today, NOW! All those things you want, act as if they already are for the next 30 days. Do it for fun and see what happens. See how you feel. Use your
imagination and enjoy!
Remember, begin with what YOU want. BE specific, BE confident, and ... BE-lieve and then simply BE!
